CodeNodex FAQ: what it is, how it differs from official APIs, supported models and tools, pricing, integration, reliability, refunds, and support.
What is CodeNodex?
CodeNodex is a third-party AI API gateway. It provides supported OpenAI-compatible endpoints for configured model channels. Current channel availability is listed on the Channels page.
How is it different from the official OpenAI / Claude API?
CodeNodex is not OpenAI or Anthropic. Endpoint routing, authentication, billing, model availability, support, and service terms are managed by CodeNodex. Official provider accounts and CodeNodex API keys are not interchangeable.
Which models and tools are supported?
The Channels page lists currently available models. Integration documentation covers Codex CLI, Claude Code, Cursor, Cline, OpenCode, and supported OpenAI-compatible or Anthropic-compatible clients.
How does billing work? Do I need a subscription?
Usage is billed according to the current console pricing and recorded usage. Check the console and service terms for current balance, pricing, and payment conditions.
How much code do I need to change to integrate?
For supported OpenAI-compatible clients, changing the Base URL and API key can be sufficient for a basic request. Validate model discovery, streaming, tool calls, error behavior, and usage reporting before migrating an application.
Is the service reliable?
The Channels page publishes channel status and availability information. Channel status does not guarantee model availability, latency, or application-specific behavior; monitor the required request path directly.
Is my balance safe? What is the refund policy?
Balance use and refund eligibility are governed by the service terms. Use the Orders page to submit a refund request and retain the relevant order and usage records.
How do I get support?
Submit support requests through the console ticket system after signing in. Telegram and QQ groups provide announcements and community discussion.
